Introduction - Using these worksheets with iPads

Adobe Reader for iPad  (free)
You will need the Adobe Reader iPad App to use these worksheets.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you are using the latest version of Adobe Reader for iPad.

Of course, all worksheets will also work on a PC (labs).   If you are working in the labs, make sure that you open in Adobe Reader.  The default option in some labs is Foxit which doesn't allow the interactive features.

You can give your students this link  http://l2eng.yolasite.com/   but it would be better to download these pdf worksheets and put them on your blog, dropbox or Moodle site.   This avoids any bandwidth issues on this server.

If you are using Edmodo, don't try and open them with the Edmodo browser.  Always download them in Chrome or Safari and from there "open in Adobe Reader".

Saving work on Adobe Reader for iPad.      Adobe Reader automatically saves a version in Adobe Documents File (click "Recents' or 'Documents' at top left on Reader iOS).  If they need a new, blank version to try again, simply download it  again from the website.

If they make annotations, there is a manual save button at the top to save the most recent version.  If they want to save it somewhere else (dropbox, their own PC etc) , they will need to email it to themselves (it's also a button at the top).

Students who set up an Adobe account could also save to the Adobe Cloud.   This will enable them to work on the same version of a document on multiple devices.  E.g.   Start a worksheet in the lab and finish later on the iPad

As always, if you find any issues (i.e. mistakes!)  please let me know.  Email below.

TEACHERS - If you like these worksheets, please send me your own tried & tested materials for interactive conversion.

I am especially looking for grammar exercise material that has similar topics to our unit themes and recycles the VTL vocabulary as well.  Thanks
